You know the old saying…“Any publicity is good publicity.” As a doctor, you may want to get noticed and recognized for the work you are doing, but where do you start and how do you identify the PR firm that will get your name out there in a professional, yet attention-getting manner? We’ve put together these four tips to help you find your perfect PR agency:

  1. Take a look at the PR agency’s other clients. This way, you can see if they are experienced at handling clients similar to you.
  2. Think of your goals. Get clear about what you want your PR team to accomplish. This will make it easier to determine what you want to focus on when meeting with them. Do you need help with your messaging, website, social media or with strategies to attract more patients to your practice?
  3. Know your budget. Determining how much you can afford will allow you to prioritize what you want your PR team to focus on. Look for a PR group that is able to accommodate your budget while still being able to accomplish your main goals.
  4. Chemistry is key. Hire a PR team with people you like. You’ll be working closely with them, so make sure you are all in sync.
